The Spark system includes the Spark canvas netting, the colour-coded floor system (with fielding zone cues), banners and environment branding, protected IP and curriculum, coach education, Net Battles app licence, and launch support. It is one complete licensed package — not separate products sold individually.
Spark is designed for indoor cricket net lanes. A typical installation covers one or more lanes (usually 3–4 metres wide and 25–30 metres long). The floor and net systems are adapted to your exact lane dimensions during the design approval stage.
Net Battles is a one-hour match play format inside the nets. There is no fielding — the colour-coded floor zones determine scoring, which means every ball demands a real decision. The competitive format creates the pressure and focus that accelerates development naturally. It can be run as standalone sessions, weekly leagues, knockout events and finals — the gamified structure keeps players engaged and coming back.
The Spark netting system can often work within existing net structures, though optimal results come with purpose-built Spark nets that include the visual position markers. During initial consultation we will assess your current setup and advise on exactly what is needed.
Yes — Spark works both indoors and outdoors. The netting system, floor system and curriculum are all designed to function in outdoor settings as well as purpose-built indoor facilities. The colour-coded environment, position markers and developmental framework translate directly to an outdoor net environment. Contact us to discuss the right configuration for your facility.
Coach education is a core part of the Spark licence. Coaches complete accredited training covering the curriculum framework, how to use the environment for development, and how to run Net Battles. Ongoing review and support is built into the licence relationship.
There is an initial investment covering the licence fee, environment package, technology setup and launch support. This is followed by an annual system fee and a royalty or agreed minimum guarantee on Net Battles and relevant revenue. From commercial agreement to soft launch typically takes around six months: design approval (month 2), production and procurement (month 3), installation and backend setup (month 4), coach training and launch preparation (month 5), and soft launch with review (month 6).
